“Whatever happened to Lovejoy Ledger?”

We’ve heard that question more than a few times over the last few months, and the answer is that Lovejoy Ledger is moving over to make way for Welcome to Lovejoy.

Lovejoy Ledger, launched in the summer of 2013, was designed to be a small community news source, primarily for residents of the Lovejoy, Georgia area. We enjoyed several years in print and on the Internet, but we ceased the print edition in late 2016, and we gradually phased out LovejoyLedger.com after that.

Welcome to Lovejoy is now under development as a website and a series of social media channels aimed primarily at newcomers and guests to the Lovejoy area. Folks like us who have been around for a few years will enjoy Welcome to Lovejoy as well, of course, especially as a tool to help us connect with the community and take part in welcoming others.j

And while there are no immediate plans to publish a print edition of Welcome to Lovejoy, we do have a few tricks up our sleeves to build a digital document that can be freely downloaded, printed, stitched and distributed. Give us a few months on that one.
